About Punkin Place
Punkin Place Child Development of Jax is a family child care center located in Jacksonville, Florida, since 2007. We are a NAEYC-accredited center that is recognized as a Gold Seal Quality Care program by the Florida Department of Children and Families. Our teachers work with your children in early education and other skills such as building self-esteem with the goal of getting them ready for Kindergarten.

What we do?
Our Services
We service the Hyde Park, Cedar Hills, Lakeshore, Normandy Manors, and Ortega areas of Jacksonville, FL, among others. We offer high quality care and teach Infants, Toddlers, Twos, Threes, and VPK Fours and Fives. We also have a before and after school program for children in elementary school. School age children can also participate in the 10-week summer camp program.
Daily Breakfast Cutoff at 8:45 a.m.
Breakfast is served from 6:45 a.m. and ends promptly at 8:45 a.m. Food from outside is not permitted and must be discarded before check-in.
Daily Arrival
You must sign the Daily Roster at check-in and departure each day. Only adults (18 years or older) can remove children from the property.
Daily Arrival Cutoff at 9:00 a.m.
All children must be checked in by 9:00 a.m. In case of a medical appointment, you must call and notify us before 9:00 a.m. and then provide a signed and dated medical excuse and your child must be checked in by 11:00 a.m.
Weekly Tuition
Tuition is due each Monday morning and is non-refundable. There is no part-time care. The late payment fee is $30.00 per child per week. Go to www.myprocare.com to pay online.
Child Care Overtime
Child care is limited to 10 hours each day. Your account will be billed $30.00 per child per hour for overtime care and is due by the next business morning.
Late Pick Ups
We close for business at 5:00 p.m. Your account will be billed $25.00 per child for each 15-minute period after 5:00 p.m. This money is due by the next business morning. Abuse of this policy can result in the loss of your child’s space.
Mandatory Medical Forms
Immunization Form DH680 and School Entry Health Exam Form DH3040 are due within 30 days of your start date.
School Readiness (SR) Absences
If your child has an SR certificate, the ELC of Duval will pay for three absent days per month. Punkin Place will bill you for additional absences at full daily rate, unless you provide a valid medical excuse.
Success by 6 (SB6) Absences
If your child has a SB6 scholarship, the ELC of Duval will pay for three absent days per month. You must notify Punkin Place and provide a valid medical excuse for additional absences.
